Calcutta High Court Justice Abhijit Ganguly has made important comments on the decision of the Supreme Court. He said - "Long live the Supreme Court". He expressed his regret in the conversation with the media. said-'Now maybe candidates who want jobs have to wait for their whole life.'
Justice Ganguly had said on Friday that he may stay in the court till midnight till the Supreme Court verdict is in hand. At around 9:45 pm, a copy of the judgment came to Justice Ganguly. After this he left home. He spoke to the media persons waiting here.
Justice Ganguly said-'We are bound by judicial discipline. We have to follow the orders of the Supreme Court, those who did not get appointments may be a little sad, but nothing can be done.'' He clarified that he had 'no personal interest' in these matters and ' Nor was there any political pressure'. If these cases are assigned to them later, they will hear them in the same way as they heard them before.'
Justice Ganguly said - 'What I have done in the last six months, if it takes 60 years to complete, then there is nothing to say. Justice Ganguly remarked that today (the hero) has died. However, he made it clear that he is not among those who 'run away from responsibility' and will continue working from next week.
He directed the Registrar General of the Supreme Court to submit the original report placed before a bench of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice PS Narasimha by midnight. Justice Ganguly had said on Friday afternoon - 'I will be in my room until midnight. I want to take a look at the documents produced before the Supreme Court.
